Asahi Gladius EX is a middle-weight, non-tapered guide wire. It has a hydrophilic SLIP-COAT® coating and a long polymer jacket, which allows it to smoothly pass through long and tortuous occluded segments and ambiguous routes, including when using the guide wire looping technique.

Comfort of use and efficacy

The tube (the ACT ONE technology: core wire + 6 wires woven together + tube) stabilizes the construction, strengthens, adds rigidity, improves pushability and support, as well as adds a little elasticity. ASAHI Gladius EX has a rigid tip, enabling more push and torque control.
