The catheter’s inner lumen improves contrast medium administration. The addition of barium sulphate in the catheter tip translates into its excellent trackability under fluoro without added rigidity. The catheter’s double thin steel wire shaft construction and nylon coating ensure a balance between rigidity, pushability, shape memory and flexibility.
