NiTiDES is a polymer-free, nitinol sirolimus-eluting stent for the treatment of lesions in the superficial femoral arteries and in the proximal segment of the popliteal artery. The proprietary polymer-free, abluminal reservoir technology enables long-term drug elution only towards the vascular wall for up to 3 months, eliminating negative factors associated with using polymer-coated stents.

Comfort of use and precise implantation

The stent is available in different sizes and trackable thanks to the application of six radiopaque tantalum markers on the stent edges, three on each end. Less metal in a vessel improves healing. The stent displays outstanding trackability. It can be safely post-dilatated using a balloon technique, which improves comfort.
